Brave Little Firsts!

Fall in love with the artwork, learn about historical HEROS and empower the next generation!

I sat on the couch with my 5 year old son and began to read the title and first page, when all of a sudden he burst out with, "So why aren't there any boys in this book?!" Great question ha ha! Yet what a great dialogue to have over the importance of this book and why it is needed in educating our children when they are little! All kids need heroes to look up to besides the cartoon versions; and what better representation then giving them books about REAL people who contributed important achievements in REAL HISTORY! Fake news be pushed aside, this is the stuff that is important, the movers and the shakers, the pioneers the "remarkable firsts."

Press Release-Meet the Author!

New mom and author, Tiffany Trotter announces the launch of Brave Little Firsts: The Remarkable Firsts of Women from Around the World, an illustrated children’s book designed to share the inspiring stories of women who were the first to accomplish historic achievements. From the first woman to fly to space to the first female doctor, Brave Little Firsts introduces readers to trailblazers and barrier breakers who dared.

“Brave Little Firsts highlights the fact that so many barriers and obstacles have been placed before women throughout history that tried to prevent women from achieving greatness,” said author, Tiffany Trotter. “Yet these amazing women were determined not to be limited.”

“Many of these women faced struggles and opposition, but they never gave up. They didn't necessarily set out to be pioneers or innovators, but they were driven by passion and a love for their craft,” said Trotter. “These women should be celebrated, and their stories should be shared with young children to motivate, uplift and encourage.”

In a time where gender roles and traditions are still being challenged, Brave Little Firsts tells the stories of how brave women overcame gender barriers to excel and pursue rewarding careers. Their stories are an inspiring way to teach young children that even though there may be obstacles, great things can be done through hard work, perseverance, and determination.

“These stories are interesting and relevant because to this day there are still so many things that women have not done yet, so there are still firsts to be achieved,” said Trotter. “Girls continue to break down barriers and show that they can do great things too. And so, can little readers.”
