For me personally I loved writing stories, however I never would have thought being published at such a young age would have been feasible. It's incredible how modern society has embraced our youth and championed them to self-publish and fulfill their writing goals and aspirations! Himani Readers is incredibly impressed with Ellie Collins, a young author who is pursuing her passion while simultaneously conquering Middle School. As she puts it "Every girl has an inner goddess waiting to be released..." and kudos to the parents, teachers and support team she has that allow her the freedom to express it!
About the Author
Ellie Collins wrote her debut novel, Daisy, Bold & Beautiful when she was turning eleven and just beginning sixth grade. She finished writing Mylee In The Mirror, the second in her middle grade Greek mythology series before heading back to school for seventh grade and turning twelve. She writes amid a very busy extracurricular schedule, including a spot on both a gymnastics team and a trampoline and tumbling team, as well as taking weekly piano lessons. She's an avid gamer who loves hanging out with friends. Her love of Greek mythology inspires her writing.
